The La Rose is an accolade to the trends set forth by Louis XIV, during the height of the Renaissance. Hours have been spent carving each rose and leaf detail to perfection. The result is exquisite carving, rich scrollwork and bountiful harvest motifs. The rounded cabriole leg and adorning rose pattern can be attributed to the “Buhl” style developed in the 1600’s by Andre Boulle. The Serpentine Rails are hand rubbed to piano finish.
